To every soul searching for the way back home. May our prayers and dreams join together and remind us of our divinity. We have Earth, Fire, Water, Air and Spirit. We are gently cradled in the arms of Mother Earth. We have community. We have each other for support and courage. We have access to unlimited Love. We breathe Love. We are Love. xoxo~Jen and Mary Beth
This week our community lost a friend, Bonou, and we wanted to post this beautiful tribute to her written by our Dream Lodge dreamer ~Jim McCraley.
The sun and the stars are the mothers that bore us. And so one day, we too will be swallowed by our sun, our star, our mother. The human mask once again removed, recycled, transformed by the light, the fire to reveal the spirit, the gold. The light is the spark that ignites our spirit, the warmth that wakes us and nurtures us, the fire that one day consumes us. And so we are a hearth that holds the flame, our eyes shine it's truth, our hearts pump it's passion, our minds give it reason, our mouths sing it's praise and our arms share it's embrace. We always were, are now and forever will be the light. We shine for each other when the sun has set, the darkness comes and the pale glow of the moon promises another day. The stars remind of those who've passed yet sparkle still until the morning sweetly comes. Tonight we are here to remember a light that left us to become a star in the night sky to comfort and delight. Bonou Radji is a light who touched many a grateful soul. Her heart, her hearth will be missed as her fire burned strong. Her star will remind us of how precious we are and how beautiful it is to be. I close with the words from the Crosby Stills and Nash song "Woodstock" "We are stardust, we are golden We are billion year old carbon And we got to get ourselves back to the garden." Bonou you are there.
What an incredible intimate and exquisite journey into our hearts! We are so filled with gratitude! More photos of the process to come. Next stop, "The Call of the Jaguar", an art and meditation retreat in the pyramids of Teotihuacan Mexico, August 24th-29th. If you hear the call, we would love to have you join us!

Here is Tenzin's story, Buddhist monk, Reiki Master, Tenzin Lama Sherpa teaches Usui Reiki and Buddhist meditation and philosophy. He was born in Katmandú in 1979. When he was only 13 years old, he finished his elementary education only to become a Tibetan Buddhist Monk. Since he was very young, he studied in a Buddhist Tibetan monastery in the south of India. Throughout his monastic life, he has received endless philosophical teachings, transmissions and initiations from great lamas. In the monastery, he also gave teachings and he took care of the monks that were sick. When, for the first time, he saw so many people sick in the hospital, he immediately wanted to become a doctor, but it was impossible to be a monk and a doctor at the same time. Once he was sick and his uncle suggested that he should take Reiki healing classes. He started taking classes with a lama, and in three days he was fully recovered. His uncle guided him to start learning Reiki healing. After only 21 days of practice and because his teacher requested him, Tenzin Lama started giving Reiki healing sessions in the healing center. In one opportunity, one of his clients happened to be a doctor, that day Tenzin Lama felt really happy because he, himself, wanted to become a doctor, but in this case, it was the doctor that came asking for a reiki healing session. After he got better, the doctor and Tenzee Lama felt really happy and fulfilled. In Nepal, Tenzin Lama used to offer his services and his knowledge in a reiki healing center, in households, hospitals and other centers dedicated to social services. After finishing his second level of reiki, he started his healing services at a distance in different parts of the country. After having finished the third level of reiki, he started to guide new reiki practitioners. He was also interviewed in the radio, in Nepal. Once his master Lama Ngawang mentioned that Tenzin is one of the best healers among a group of 2000 students. This comment meant a lot for Tenzin, it meant way more than the certification of graduation. In 2005, Tenzin Lama’s teacher received an invitation from a Chilean doctor to come to the country and Tenzin Lama’s master appointed him to be the assistant to take part in Buddhist centers, in reiki healing centers, universities, and clinics from different parts of the country. Tenzin Lama also learned and exchanged knowledge with Reiki Masters and psychologists from Chile. Over the last ten years, Tenzin Lama has given reiki to more than 5500 people and has taught reiki to more than 450 students. According to Tenzin Lama, Reiki is a healing method that has no side effects. Any person can learn reiki for either self-healing or for healing others. This healing practice promotes physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual growth. We can learn different types of reiki healing methods but love and compassion form the foundation to any form of reiki that you desire to learn.
